Ciganda Tops Leaderboard; Kouskova Wins Team Event at Aramco Houston Championship

Carlota Ciganda stormed to the top of the leaderboard at the Aramco Houston Championship with a stunning round of 64 (-8), while Sara Kouskova‘s team secured victory in the team event.

Ciganda’s Impressive Comeback

Ciganda, who had struggled in recent tournaments, showed improved form to take the solo lead. She attributed her success to working with her coach, saying, “My last competitions didn’t go very well, but I spent a few days with my coach, and I think my swing is back on point. I feel pretty good now.”

Kouskova’s Team Triumph

The team of Sara Kouskova secured victory in the team event, marking her third team victory this season. Kouskova praised her team’s collective effort, saying, “We completed ourselves very well throughout the day.”

French Contenders Stay in Contention

French golfers Céline Boutier, Perrine Delacour, and Nastasia Nadaud remain in contention, tied for fourth place, four strokes behind Ciganda. Pauline Roussin-Bouchard and Céline Herbin’s team narrowly missed out on the team title.
