Swiss tennis superstar became a mother for the first time.

Swiss tennis can welcome a very special baby: the reigning Olympic champion became a mother for the first time.

Swiss tennis player Belinda Bencic has become a mother for the first time. The 27-year-old gave birth to a daughter named Bella on Tuesday. Her partner and trainer announced this on Instagram. “Bella, our love,” Martin Hromkovic wrote on his account above a picture of the baby.

Last November it was announced that Bencic was pregnant. At the Sports Awards in December, the former world number four explained that she wanted to continue her tennis career after giving birth and definitely wanted to win another Grand Slam. She did not announce an exact timetable. Bencic’s greatest success to date is the Olympic victory at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
