Badminton Fans Gather for Saint-Renan Tournament

Top Players and Exciting Matches Await

Badminton fans are flocking to Saint-Renan this weekend for a thrilling tournament hosted by Bad’iroise Saint-Renan. With nearly 150 players registered, the action-packed event is set to draw large crowds and create an electric atmosphere in the Trevisquin room.

Among the participants is Martin Bellot, currently ranked 22nd in France, who will be adding star power to the event. “The tournament was open to N1 level, so I didn’t hesitate to join. I’ve made a big preparation this summer, and it’s great to test myself and get back into the rhythm,” said Bellot.

The tournament will be divided into three days, with each day featuring a different category:

  • Friday: Singles (79 players, 139 games)
  • Saturday: Doubles (43 pairs, 141 games)
  • Sunday: Mixed doubles (36 pairs, 72 games)

“Over these three days, we will have welcomed 322 games, which represents a good performance,” said Mickaël Lemarchand, club president.
