West Indies will play three ODIs against Bangladesh in St. Kitts. The Caribbean announced the 15-man squad for the three-match ODI series on Monday (December 02, 2024).
There are two changes from the team that lost the last series 2-1 against England. Keeper-batsman Jewel Andrew and leg-spinner Hayden Walsh Jr. have dropped out without playing any matches in that series. Pace bowling all-rounders Justin Graves and Amir Jangu are back in their place. Amir got the call for the first time.
Justin Graves is playing against Bangladesh in the Test series. This batsman scored a century in the first Test. He scored three centuries in a row in the West Indies domestic cricket Super Fifty Cup last month. Graves became the first West Indies cricketer to achieve such a feat in ‘List A’ cricket. His runs were 401 in 5 matches. Besides, Jangu was the top scorer in the same competition. He had 446 runs in 7 matches with an average of 89.20 and 1 century and three fifties. So he has been called for the first time in the national team.
Three ODIs will be played in St. Kitts. The first ODI is on December 8. The next two ODIs are on December 10 and 12 respectively.
