Former Serie C footballer Andrea Mussoni was arrested yesterday by the Carabinieri for persecutory acts, aggravated personal injury, beatings, threats, housebreaking and damage towards his ex-girlfriend. The former full-back would have been seen threatening the woman at Kiosko Vincanto, the venue in Villa Verucchio which was then destroyed in a fire on the night between 14 and 15 April. On that occasion the 43-year-old was seen slapping his ex in front of the customers of the restaurant and when she was defended by the owner of the restaurant, Filippo Malatesta, a well-known singer-songwriter from Rimini, Mussoni’s response was: “Don’t worry, tomorrow the restaurant will You can’t stand it anymore, I’ll throw four Molotov cocktails at you.”
