In her first official match since September 18, Eugenie Bouchard won brilliantly in the first round of the ITF tournament in Zephyrhills, Florida, on Wednesday.

She notably broke her opponent four times in five occasions, while her opponent only managed to do it once in as many attempts. The 466th player in the WTA rankings won 66% of the points contested during her first serve and 57% in her second.
Thus, Bouchard won all eight games in which she held serve. The Montrealer will meet the winner of the match between Fanny Stollar and Maya Joint in the next round.
