Weekend full of events for the athletes of the judo section of Cus Ferrara judo.
The little ones were engaged at the Pala Lame in Bologna in the “Judo day”, reserved for young judokas in the categories Children (2019-2018-2017), Children (2016-2015) and Boys born in 2014-2013. There were 13 mini Cussini athletes competing under the orders of the technicians De la Paz, Tieghi and Andreolla who at the end of the event said they were very satisfied with the results obtained.
In fact, 6 gold medals arrived, obtained by Alice Gatti, Aurora Gulisano, Maria Rosa Gulisano, Sebastiano Gulisano, Valentino Di Fusco, Alessandro Artioli. The silver medals were instead won by Filippo Diegoli, Tommaso Gelzo and Lorenzo Fortezza. Finally, third place for Ludovica Fregnani, Tommaso Lugas and Bruno Romanazzi. The federal judo technical center in Castel Maggiore hosted the qualifiers for the Italian rookie B championships. Two Cussini athletes were competing: Surafel Vinci in the 60kg category and Marianna Savino in the -52kg category, who performed well in this event regional that issued passes for the triolori. Marianna wins the first match, reaching the semi-final which she loses to the athlete who will win the category. At the end of the tournament she finished 5th, losing in the matches valid for the bronze medal. Surafel wins the first match and enters the quarter-finals, where he surrenders to Parma of the same age. In the repechage she lost the third match finishing in 7th place.
In this competition where the level was decidedly good, the technicians noticed notable technical improvements and acquisition of confidence from the kids.
