“Basketball Education Cooperation Project” was signed between Bandırma Basketball Club and American Culture Private Bandırma College. The signing ceremony was held at the “Parmos Hotel” in Düzler district of Erdek.
Bandırma Basketball Club Basketball Club President Bora Öziş made the first speech at the signing ceremony.
Emphasizing that the main goal of the project is to ensure that children who are talented in basketball, gathered under the roof of Bandırma Basketball Club, receive their academic education at world standards at Bandırma American Culture College, Öziş said:
“Apart from this, our other goal is to take advantage of Bandırma’s close interest in basketball sports and achieve significant success on a national scale in school sports competitions under the name of Bandırma American Culture College, as well as in our club infrastructure activities.
In line with these goals, our club’s licensed athletes will have the opportunity to receive academic education thanks to the success and talent that Bandırma American Culture College will provide at certain rates.
As Bandırma Basketball Club, we wish that our 10-year project will be beneficial for our children and their families, with the awareness that in today’s world, one-way development does not bring permanent individual and social success, and to develop our children in a versatile way and to ensure that they become stakeholders of national and universal values, we will make all the sacrifices they can to make our project come to life. I would like to thank the valuable administrators of Bandırma Kültür College and BAŞTAŞ Group for making this happen on behalf of our club.”
