Dylan Carrillo, 15 years old and brown belt, fought in the under 60 kilo category in the hopefuls division. He won his quarterfinal with a waza-ari and an ippon, lost his semifinal and won third place with two waza-aris. He is qualified for the French junior championships.

Romain Ferras, 16 years old and also a brown belt, participated in the under 81 kilo category in the second division. By finishing third in his group, he qualified for the French second division cadet championships. “I feel joy and excitement. The two judokas will participate in the French championships in Ceyrat (Puy-de-Dôme) on Saturday May 18 and Sunday May 19.
