Artenay. Good results among the cadets. Two young Artenaysian judokas from the cadet group distinguished themselves in Bourges (Cher) during the regional championships.

Dylan Carrillo, 15 years old and brown belt, fought in the under 60 kilo category in the hopefuls division. He won his quarterfinal with a waza-ari and an ippon, lost his semifinal and won third place with two waza-aris. He is qualified for the French junior championships.

Dylan becomes the 102 e black belt of the Judo club of the Artenay region.

Romain Ferras, 16 years old and also a brown belt, participated in the under 81 kilo category in the second division. By finishing third in his group, he qualified for the French second division cadet championships. “I feel joy and excitement. This qualification has all the more flavor because of my difficult journey and my health problems. I would like to finish on the podium and continue to have fun practicing this sport, and why not make it my job. »

The two judokas will participate in the French championships in Ceyrat (Puy-de-Dôme) on Saturday May 18 and Sunday May 19.
