Andalusia Tennis: Gold Excellence Clubs Recognized for Leadership and Commitment
In a significant initiative to applaud and recognize the clubs fostering the growth of tennis in Andalucía, the Andalusian Tennis Federation has introduced a new category: the Gold Excellence Club and School distinction. This prestigious accolade acknowledges clubs that consistently drive the development of the sport, not only in terms of facilities and licenses, but also due to their solid structure, dedication to training, commitment to equal opportunities, and active participation in federated competitions.
Setting New Standards with Rigorous Criteria
To be considered for the Gold Excellence honor, clubs must meet stringent requirements:
- Club and School of Excellence in Vigor
- At least five years of continuous federated activity
- A minimum of 225 federation licenses, with a substantial presence of competition licenses (at least 25% female licenses)
- A qualified technical structure, ownership of refereeing duties, active participation in team competitions, and hosting of official regional, national, and international events
- Adequate facilities with at least five fully operational tennis courts
Additionally, the Federation positively evaluates clubs’ commitment to gender equality and promoting a balanced presence of women and men in governing bodies, as well as adopting measures that encourage equal opportunities.
