In a significant move for both the player and the association, Spanish forward Santi Aldama of the Memphis Grizzlies has been elected as one of the vice presidents of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA).
Three-Year Term Awaits Aldama
Aldama, currently in his fifth season in the NBA, will serve an initial term of three years in this leadership role. TheNBPA is currently chaired by Fred VanVleet of the Houston Rockets.
