Wish for happiness and prosperity. On the day of Akshaya Tritiya, a vessel filled with water, an umbrella and a fan are donated as per tradition, barley and rice are especially donated on this day. Due to Akshaya Tritiya being related to the Moon, the first thing to be done on this day is to perform Pitru Karma. It is said that on this day, the ancestors receive the fruits of their ancestral deeds a thousandfold. On this day, one should take bath in holy rivers or while taking bath, holy water and Akshat should be added to the water.
