Zverev (27) and Nadal (37) meet eleven times. Zverev has won three times and Nadal has won seven times. The German number one ranked fourth at Roland Garros, Nadal has fallen sharply in the world rankings after suffering a series of injuries in recent years.
Two years ago, Zverev suffered a serious ankle injury in the semi-finals in Paris against Nadal when the result was 6:7, 6:6.
