Yoga postures, yoga breathing techniques and meditation have long been known as methods that contribute to greater relaxation, concentration and general well-being. The recitation of a mantra, performed alone or in conjunction with a yoga posture, is not yet very common. In many yoga traditions they are an integral part of a yoga practice and are often performed at the beginning of a yoga class or before meditation.
“Mantra – that which protects and centers me.” Mantras are powerful sounds that create certain vibrations in our body. These vibrations have the ability to positively influence our psyche and thus improve our physical, mental and emotional health. By chanting we reach a state of deep concentration, the yoga postures are perceived more intensely, the muscle tone changes and even when practicing in this way a pleasant relaxation sets in. The mind is aligned and prepared for meditation.
In this seminar we combine the different elements of yoga into a practice that brings us strength and at the same time aligns and relaxes us.
Please bring: comfortable, warm clothing, wool socks, a seat cushion and a blanket as well as a non-slip mat.
