Augsburg coach Sandro Wagner expressed his discontent with Bayern defender Sacha Boey and the Bayern team’s reaction following a heavy collision that left Augsburg player Robin Fellhauer with a serious injury.
“Fellhauer will be okay, but he’s sustained a heavy concussion and will need two to three weeks to recover,” Wagner stated post-match. The 27-year-old was taken to the hospital after the 2-3 defeat against Munich.
“It was a brutal foul. I wish Boey had apologized immediately instead of walking away like nothing happened.”
