Dominic Stricker (181), who uses a safe place in New York, has a lot to lose since he reached the 16th round last year (205 points). The Bernese also suffered a setback during the draw, in the first round against Argentina’s Francesco Comesana (108).
Note that Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, who are number 3 in the table and the winner of the US Open in 2022, are expected to meet in the final round. Defending and Olympic champion Novak Djokovic (2) is the man to beat at the bottom of the men’s table.
