Wallabies Square Off with Elite Sides in 2026 International Season; 40 Players Set for Specific January Training Camp

The Wallabies have announced a powerhouse 2026 international season packed with 14 Tests against world-class opposition, kicking off with a blockbuster clash against Ireland in Sydney in July.

Key Highlights:

  • The Wallabies will face Ireland at Allianz Stadium in Sydney to start their international season on July 4.
  • The team will also clash with France, Italy, Japan, Argentina, New Zealand, and England in tests throughout the year.
  • Nine Western Force players have been selected for a specific training camp taking place from January 5 to 7 in Sydney.

Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt, expressing the purpose of the upcoming training camp, stated, “The few days we have together early in the new year will provide an ideal chance to reflect on the demanding 2025 Test campaign and draw valuable insights. Additionally, it’s an opportunity to complete national testing and medical checks before the players return to their Super Rugby Pacific clubs to prepare for the 2026 season.”
