Volvo China Open Weather Delay: Third Round Rescheduled for Sunday at Hidden Grace Golf Club

A handful of players had the green light early this Saturday morning to start their game despite particularly threatening weather. A few minutes later, they were called back to the clubhouse due to thunderstorms thundering above the Hidden Grace Golf Club. After several hours spent gazing at the skies, hoping for a clearing, everyone had to face the facts: there would be no game possible this Saturday.

The organizers therefore canceled the day and postponed the third round to Sunday, from 8 a.m. local time. THE Volvo China Open will therefore be played over 54 holes instead of the 72 planned, and the best French people at mid-tournament will therefore start with reduced chances of victory, since Frédéric Lacroix (9th), Julien Guerrier and Antoine Rozner (17th), will start respectively seven and nine shots behind the Swede Sebastian Söderberg.
