Vinicius wins ‘FIFA the best’

Real Madrid’s Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior won ‘FIFA The Best’. Vinicius won the FIFA Men’s Footballer of the Year award for the first time. The award was handed over to Vinicius on Tuesday night at the famous Aspire Academy in Qatar’s capital, Doha.

The Real Madrid star came close to winning the Ballon d’Or in the end. There is no less controversy about this. It also has to explain why he didn’t win the Ballon d’Or. This time FIFA recognized him as the best player. Vinny has certainly forgotten his grief at FIFA’s recognition.

The Brazilian forward had a great last season. Scored 24 goals in a great season for Real Madrid. Won Champions League, La Liga and Super Cup. Also scored in the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund. He scored a hat-trick against Barcelona in the Super Cup final.

Vinicius became the first Brazilian to win ‘FIFA The Best’ since 2007. After Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric, Real Madrid became the third footballer to receive ‘The Best’ award.

Like the Ballon d’Or, Vinicius’ main rival was Rodri. But Vinny won the award by beating everyone on points. His points were 10. Rodri got 43 points.

After receiving the award, Vinicius thanked his Real Madrid and Brazilian teammates, family and Flamengo, the club that brought him into the limelight.

More awards are given on the stage for the best of Vinicius. Spain’s Aitana Banmati won the women’s footballer of the year award. Real Madrid’s Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti has been named the best coach of the year. Argentinian star Amy Martinez was awarded the best goalkeeper of the year. The best female coach of the year is English coach Emma Hayes.
