The UVa badminton team has finished the national league close to perfection: 5 matches won out of the last 5 played. This result has caused them to be just one victory away from promotion.

Last round of the league played in Huelva where the university students traveled with their homework done and had the luxury of traveling with the young and less common players of the team to play the last two confrontations.

For this reason, the lineups would be modified by the coach, Enrique Fernández, where he wanted to give court minutes to the young promises of Valladolid badminton. Despite these changes, UVa achieved two creditable 4-3 victories against the Badminton teams Estella and Badminton Granollers.

6 points that went up to the UVa locker to place it no more and no less in fourth position and thus more than ensure for one more year its permanence in the first gold national league (second highest category of Spanish badminton)

Once the team competition is over, there is room for individual competition to prepare for the regional and Spanish championships that will be held in the near future.
