In a season filled with growth and excitement, Farigliano’s youth basketball teams saved some of their best performances for last. Here are the highlights from their final matches:

Under 19 Silver

The Under 19 Silver team faced an unbeaten opponent in the Ottavi Phase top match. Despite holding their own for the first half, the team eventually fell to the opposition’s physical prowess, with the final score reading 52-89.

“We couldn’t do more, they are proud of you boys for this splendid season… entering the best 16 teams at the regional level despite the average age of the lowest in the championship,” coach Danilo Treirione commented.

Under 17 Gold

In the Gold division, the Under 17 team faced Granda College. Putting up a strong fight, they led 51-51 before falling to the hosts’ energy and athleticism in the final minutes, losing 59-72.

Under 17 UISP

The Under 17 team in the UISP league dominated Basket Carrù, winning 106-48. With a place in the provincial final at stake, they’ll face Chieri in the decisive match on Tuesday.

CSI Under 16 Students

The Under 16 CSI team clinched the provincial title with a dominant 81-46 victory against Gators, showcasing their energy and control throughout the match.

Under 15 Female

In their final game, the Under 15 female team faced Letter 22. After a strong comeback, they led by 5 with seconds remaining but failed to secure the win, losing 52-45 OT.

CSI Under 14 Boys

The Under 14 CSI team capped off their season with a provincial championship win, defeating Mondovì 79-62. Their tactical lucidity and defensive intensity proved crucial in the victory.
