There are 38 Umbrian publishers who, from 9 to 13 May, will bring their production to the Turin International Book Fair and over 20 events, including presentations of new books and meetings with authors, which will be held in the “Sala Umbria” of the Umbria Region/Umbria Editoria stand, located in the Oval Pavilion W194/X193 of the Lingotto.

The graphics of the stand are mainly dedicated to UmbriaLibri, the event with which this year the Region will participate in the Turin initiative “Luci sui festivals”, for the promotion of the most important Italian literary festivals.

Guest of honor will be the National Committee for the Celebrations of the VIII centenary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi, which through dedicated staff will provide previews of the initiatives planned between now and 2026. Furthermore, a moment dedicated to the Canticle of the Creatures has been announced, with the president of the Committee, Davide Rondoni.

Also on the program is the presentation of the traveling multisensory exhibition “Stories on fingers – Trees”, organized by the National Federation of Pro Blind Institutions Onlus, with the contribution of 24 international artists and tactile and inclusive books will also be on display at the stand.
