A Resounding Success for the Eighth Year

The TV Rhede tennis department’s hobby league wrapped up another successful season, drawing strong participation from the local community. A total of 85 matches were played across six groups in women’s and men’s singles, and mixed doubles.

Women’s Division: Teklote Claims Top Spot

Marina Teklote emerged as the women’s group winner, securing victory with 6 match points and an impressive 74 games won. She finished ahead of Carolin Eiting, who earned 5 match points and won 65 games.

Men’s Division: Belting and Klinger Lead the Way

In the men’s competition, Stefan Belting topped Group 1 with 5 match points and 61 games won, followed by Felix Kortstegge (4 match points, 56 games won). Group 2 saw Michael Klinger take the lead with 6 match points and 72 games won, alongside Herbert Böing-Messing (4 match points, 56 games won). Christian Thüner and Guido Gantefort were victorious in Group 3, earning 4 and 2 match points respectively.

Mixed Doubles: Kortstegge/Werner and Harborg/Passerschröer Triumph

The mixed doubles competition was equally competitive. Julia Kortstegge and Helmut Werner won Group 1 with 4 match points and 50 games won, finishing ahead of Christina and Stefan Belting (3 match points, 40 games won). Annette Harborg and Paul Passerschröer claimed victory in Group 2 (4 match points, 48 games won), besting Anke and Frank Passerschröer (3 match points, 38 games won).
