Schaeffersheim

The pennant teams started this new season with two home wins.

Good start for the girls against Ohnheim II: after 10 minutes they lead 20-12, but their opponent goes back two lengths at the break (37-35). Then the two teams remained neck and neck until the end of the game won by Schaeffersheimoises 64-60.

The boys played well against Mulhouse/Pfastatt II but still conceded four 3-point shots in the first action (16-18). This first period of defense will remain tight until the end (33-34).

Thanks to a good collective game, the locals dominated the Mulhouse residents in the second half of the game to progress to victory 73-65.

Erstein

The 1st round of the Crédit Mutuel Cup ended with a lackluster performance for both BCE senior teams. With two stunning wins, they hit their stride, giving a glimpse of promising prospects.

The men gave a demonstration in Witternheim, winning with an impressive lead (59-116). The best individual performances should be highlighted in this collective victory: T. Stoll stood out with 27 points, followed by S. Neeff (20). A successful introduction that promises great things.

The women’s I was not neglected with a big victory (51-69) in Schirmeck. They know how to execute their game from the beginning. A trio particularly stood out during this meeting: E. Lobner, top scorer with 16 points, C. Rietsch (13) and C. Noll (11). Their collective performance was the key to this fight’s success.

Hindisheim

The two teams that entered the Crédit Mutuel Cup both qualified well. Traveling to Libellules with a 14 point bonus, the men’s I team achieved their first official outing. With three new recruits this year, including the promising Benjamin Antz, a boy from the village who came home as well as Baptiste Sengel who was seen in Erstein, the Hindisheimois imposed their law with victory in the last making them eligible for the next round (62- 73).

The women I, also with three recruits including the young Clara Galéa of Hindisheim origin, also made their debut. Dominating Urmatt very quickly (41-72) from the beginning to the end, they started their season well. A good sign for the championship that they will approach with big ambitions.
