National Talent Converges in Tordesillas

Tordesillas, Spain, wrapped up the XXI Badminton Tournament “Villa del Tratado” on Sunday, March 1st, marking a successful event that drew over 200 participants. Representing 16 clubs from 17 autonomous communities, the tournament featured competition in the under-15 and under-19 categories.

The two-day event, held at the town’s municipal pavilion, hosted approximately 200 matches across individual, doubles, and mixed doubles disciplines. The tournament is a key event on the Spanish Badminton Federation (FESBA) calendar, serving as a qualifying event for the Master Jóvenes N3 under-15 and under-19 competitions.

Organizers expressed satisfaction with the event’s success, highlighting the high level of competition and organization. The tournament also provided a boost to the local economy, coinciding with other local events like the Ruta del Puchero.
