Unbeatable Domination by Vietnam’s Top-Ranked Players
The 2025 Badminton National Championship wrapped up with thrilling victories from Vietnam’s finest. Thuy Linh and Hai Dang, the world’s 23rd and 58th ranked players respectively, lived up to their reputations, securing gold in their respective categories and reaffirming their status as the country’s top badminton hopes.
Thuy Linh’s Triple Triumph
“Thuy Linh, despite many difficulties against Tran Thi Phuong Thuy (Bac Ninh), thanks to his courage to express himself at the right time in decisive moments, won 2-0 with a tight score of 22-20 and 22-20.“
This impressive win marked Thuy Linh’s third consecutive gold medal in the Women’s Singles category, solidifying her dominance in national tournaments. As the host country’s representative, she brought home another gold for Dong Nai.

“We can say that the national championship will be a great source of encouragement for Hai Dang and Thuy Linh to participate in the world championship, which will take place at the end of this month in France.“
