Rosario Basketball Set for Centennial Season with Expanded League Structure
The Rosarina Basketball Association is preparing for a landmark year, celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026. The association, led by President Marcelo Turcato, has already begun organizing the 2026 tournament schedule, with fixtures set to be released on February 20th.
Women’s League to Tip Off First
The women’s leagues will be the first to begin play, with both Primera A (Federal Rosario) and Primera B Femenina scheduled to start on March 5th. Ten teams have confirmed participation in the highest women’s category, including Náutico Sportivo Avellaneda, Rosario Central, and Provincial.
Men’s League Schedule
The men’s leagues will follow closely behind. First A and First B will commence on March 6th, whereas the Super League (Prefederal), Primera C Flex, and Primera D Flex are slated to begin on March 8th. The men’s branch will feature a total of 82 teams distributed across five categories.
