The countdown to the Huelva 2026 European Badminton Championship is well underway, with the official mascot, Luz, embarking on an institutional tour to highlight the event and acknowledge the support of key organizations. Recognizing Key Partners

Luz visited representatives from the Junta de Andalucía, the Huelva City Council, and the Huelva Provincial Council to express gratitude for their commitment to bringing the championship to Huelva. The visits aimed to formally recognize the institutions’ roles in securing Huelva as the host city for the prestigious continental tournament.

During the tour, Luz met with Teresa Herrera, territorial delegate of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Junta de Andalucía in Huelva; Pilar Miranda, the mayor of Huelva; and David Toscano, the president of the Huelva Provincial Council.
