“I think my long term goal is to be number 1 in the world and win the Olympic gold medal as well as the world title. But I prefer first and foremost to concentrate on what I have to do on the court,” he declared after his victory in Japan.
And he already has in his sights the 2025 World Championships scheduled for the end of August in Paris. “I want to achieve something really big in this tournament. I want to be one of the best players,” he said. He has ten months ahead of him to prepare and make another impression.
