Huelva Club Achieves Impressive Medal Count in Badajoz
The athletes of IES La Orden Badminton Club delivered a stellar performance at the Extremadura Top TTR Sub 11, Sub 13, Sub 17 and Absolute competition held in Badajoz, earning a total of 11 medals.
Key Victories and Champions
Javier Torres secured a double gold
in the Men’s Singles and Men’s Doubles Absolute events, partnering with Marcos Contreras. Manuel Íñigo was crowned champion in the Under 13 men’s singles. José Luis Carrasco and Charo Muñoz triumphed in the Mixed Double Absolute, while Darío Bernabé and Bárbara Martos claimed victory in the Under 17 mixed double.
Silver and Bronze Medalists
Dayana Galan earned a silver medal in the Women’s Individual Sub 13. José Luis Carrasco and Alejandro Salobral (Absolute Masculine Double) and Eloy López and Hugo Romero (Under 11 Men’s Double) also secured silver medals.
Alejandro Salobral took bronze in the Absolute Men’s Individual, Barbara Martos in the Women’s Individual Under 17, and Manuel Íñigo and Dayana Galán in the Under 17 Mixed Double completed the medal tally.
Rising Star Recognized by Andalusian Badminton Federation
The IES La Orden club’s development program continues to gain recognition, with Manuel Íñigo being summoned by the Andalusian Badminton Federation (FAB) to participate in the 3rd Concentration of Athletes for Monitoring, taking place from March 19 to 21 at the ‘Carolina Marín’ Sports Palace.
