Under the direction of Yamile Valencia, Academic and Artistic Director of the Infusion Theatre Collective, this clown play explores the complexities of self-love, romantic failures and the search for personal acceptance.
In this work, the clown Yunque, in the middle of her daily routine, suffers an accident that leads her to wake up believing that she has been chosen by the goddess Venus to be the “Cupid” on Earth. With unconventional and comical methods, Yunque tries to unite people, but her constant failures make her doubt her ability to be a worthy representative of love. However, on her journey, she will discover that before being able to help others, she needs to accept and love her own essence. A profound lesson presented with the clown’s characteristic humor and tenderness.
