The Foundation’s first project is support for the Compo’Plume Project

Compo’plume is a company expert in the recovery of atypical waste such as steering wheels. Its creator, Benjamin Moreau, himself a boardwalk enthusiast, found two ways of recycling these small objects: insulating materials and decorative furniture materials. Each step from waste collection to marketing of the final product is designed to have a positive impact on the environment and the social fabric. Thus, waste processing is partially carried out in an ESAT to promote equal opportunities and integration.

This project will be divided into 4 stages:

– ANALYZE THE EXISTING
List, analyze, study all waste flows generated by the practice of badminton.

– DEVELOP A SOLUTION FOR EACH WASTE
Test recovery solutions for each of the waste detected and listed in the previous phase.

– SET UP COLLECTION AND SORTING
Amplify collection via the Compo’plume collection box system (1 box allowing approximately 750 steering wheels to be recycled).

– EXPLAIN, EDUCATE AND COMMUNICATE
Raise the ecological awareness of all practitioners of all ages and levels by developing the system in clubs, Pôles France and Pôles Espoirs.
