Luton recently saw an exciting display of athleticism and community spirit as the Hangout Luton Four Seasons Badminton Tournament – Autumn Cup took center stage. The event is officially ranked by BBFUK and consists of two categories of passionate players competing for the highest level.

The competition was organized by Hangout Luton, a not-for-profit organization to empower the local community. Hangout Luton runs a range of programs aimed at promoting personal development, wellbeing and community engagement. Services include youth drop-in sessions, business start-up support, education services and community resilience projects designed to enrich the lives of Luton residents. Hangout Luton’s mission is to create an inclusive space where every resident can thrive with support and opportunities.

After 10 hours of intense matches, the results are:

However, the race was not just a race. I also help out with The Curry Kitchen Luton, a local charity that prepares fresh meals for over 150 homeless and vulnerable people every week. With the support of sponsors, participants and attendees, over 500 meals have been funded so far, and donations continue to pour in.

With the help of Curry Kitchen Luton

The competition was not only a sporting event but also a vital fundraising initiative for The Curry Kitchen Luton, a charity that prepares and distributes hot meals in the community. Organizers are excited to announce that the money raised from the event will help prepare more than 500 meals, and donations are still being accepted.

The success of the Fall Cup would not have been possible without the invaluable contributions of all sponsors, participants and volunteers. Special thanks are given to the sponsors for their financial support and guidance during the planning and execution of the event. The hard work of the volunteers who gave so generously of their time and energy was crucial to the success of the competition.
