The board of directors of the Professional Football League (LFP) has validated the holding of the Champions Trophy on January 5, in Doha (Qatar), the Sports Department of Radio France learned on Monday, November 18, from ‘a source which is close to the file, confirming the information from The Team.
The meeting, which pits Paris Saint-Germain against AS Monaco, should have taken place in August in China. It was canceled due to administrative concerns.
The Ligue 1 championship match, which will pit ASM against PSG on January 5, 2025, is therefore expected to be Wednesday December 18, 2024.
