Famous faces in English cricket are Sam Curran and Tom Curran. Sam has played 24 Tests, 35 ODIs and 58 T20Is for England. On the other hand, Tom has played 2 Tests, 28 ODIs and 30 T20Is in England’s jersey.

Their other brother Ben Curran has also played First Class, List ‘A’ and T20 matches in England. It was conceivable that he would also get a place in the England team, following in the footsteps of his brothers. But Sam said on social media on Monday night (Dec 09) that their brother Ben has been called up to the Zimbabwe team. Basically, he got a call to the team after playing domestic cricket well there.

Originally Tom, Ben and Sam’s father Kevin Curran played for Zimbabwe. Ben followed in his footsteps and made it to the Zimbabwe team. He may also make his debut for Zimbabwe in the upcoming Afghanistan series.

Ben, however, was congratulated by his two brothers, Sam and Tom. Sam wrote, “What great news! What could be happier for you? Today someone (their late father) will see your achievement with a big smile on their face.”

Tom wrote, “It was predictable before. Very proud.”

Their father Kevin was a pace bowling all-rounder. who took 9 wickets and scored 287 runs in 11 ODIs for Zimbabwe. Who died in 2012.
