The tennis tour recently lost its most famous couple: Paula Badosa (WTA 126) and Stefanos Tsitsipas (ATP 8) have separated. The 26-year-old made the end of love public on social media on Sunday.
A few days later, the Spaniard told Tennis.com about the separation during the tournament in Rome: “The whole thing reminds me a lot of the story of Maria Sharapova and Grigor Dimitrov (another former lovers on the tennis tour, ed.): Man meets the right person, but at the wrong moment. It feels something like this.”
“Nothing bad happened”
She and Tsitsipas have a great relationship, he is a great guy and she only wishes him the best. “I know he feels the same way.” She received so much support, from her family, her team and her friends, but also from his team and his family.
Here the two could still smile together.
