Telepass: how to withdraw without paying

Motorists who do not intend to accept the unilateral changes to the Telepass contracts and the consequent rate increases decided by the company can withdraw without any expense and without any penalty by June 30th (here are the differences between the Telepass, UnipolMove and MooneyGo services). Assoutenti reminds us of this, commenting on the communications that Telepass is sending to its customers in recent days, where it informs that “starting from next July 1st, we intend to implement some changes to our offer: in particular, the fee for the Telepass Family service will be increased to 3 .90 euros (VAT included) on a monthly basis” in order to increase the quality and capillarity of its services throughout the national territory to promote integrated urban mobility.

“Starting from 1 July 2024 the basic Telepass (Family) service will in fact go from the current 1.83 euros per month to 3.90 euros, with an increase of 113%” recalls Assoutenti in a note. Motorists who do not intend to accept the tariff changes can withdraw with immediate effect, without penalties or deactivation costs, by calling the toll-free number 800.904940 or by sending a communication via email (managementcontratto@telepass.com), certified email (sistenza@pec. telepass.com); using the online form: or by downloading a specific form on the company website. After sending the request, the device must be returned to one of the Telepass Stores, Telepass Service Center or Telepass Point or by sending it by registered post to Telepass SpA – Via del Serafico 49 – 00142 Rome – reminds Assoutenti – In case of withdrawal, the period of time available to return the relevant device has exceptionally been increased to six months.
