Tennis Club Moliens Open: A Smashing Success
The Open: A Month of Intense Tennis Action
The much-anticipated Open tennis tournament organized by the Tennis Club Moliens Kindy (TCMK) concluded on a high note Sunday, August 10, at Foliage, near Formerie in Oise.
Spanning four weeks from July 11, the tournament saw 294 matches played across two outdoor courts and the club’s indoor shorts. The event was officiated by Charles Craeye, president of the tennis club filled with Kindy.
Record-breaking Registration and Impressive Crowds
This year’s Open boasted a record-breaking number of registered players—191, a testament to the growing popularity of the event and the club.
Champions Crowned
The tournament culminated in thrilling finals for both men and women. Taking home the trophies were Justine Morel of TCMK in the women’s singles and Mathis Ancellin of Breteuil Tennis Club in the men’s singles.
Mathis, a first-time participant, showed remarkable resilience in his match against Reza Nakhai, turning the tables despite being down 6-2 in the first set. Justine, meanwhile, outlasted Christelle Boutrouille in a hard-fought three-set match.
Men’s Singles (Over 45)
In the men’s singles over 45 category, Arnaud Lacroix of Gac Tennis emerged victorious after his opponent retired in the third set, trailing 3-6, 7-5, 3-0.

Registration for the upcoming season at TCMK is on Saturday, September 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Tennis Club. Join the club and be a part of the exciting tennis community in Moliens!
