Swiss Little League Announces Tryouts for 2026 Poland Qualifier
Young baseball and softball players in Switzerland have the chance to represent their country on an international stage. Little League Switzerland is currently accepting registrations for players interested in competing in the Little League Qualifier for the 2026 Little League World Series, to be held in Kutno, Poland.
Registration Details and Deadline

Eligibility Requirements
Players must meet specific criteria to be eligible for consideration:
- Date of birth between September 1, 2013 and August 31, 2016
- Current enrollment in a Swiss school
- Mandatory participation in at least eight games within the SBSF U12 League before the season’s complete
- Attendance at the Little League Final in Therwil on May 16, 2026, is required
- Participation in at least two Little League Prospect (LP) events – one before and one after the summer holidays – is highly encouraged
Tournament Schedule
The qualifier tournament will take place from July 12-16, 2026, in Kutno, Poland. Should the Swiss team advance, they will then compete in the Little League Regional tournament, scheduled for July 19-26, 2026, also in Kutno.
Team Selection Process
All players meeting the outlined criteria are welcome to register, regardless of perceived skill level
. After registration, players will be assigned to either an East or West team. Coaches will observe players during games in April to form the teams. The final team representing Switzerland will be determined at a tournament between Team East and Team West on May 16, 2026.
