Judo Club Don Benito Excels in Spanish Cup
This past weekend, the Judo Club Don Benito’s children’s and cadet team showcased their skills at the Spanish Cup held at the municipal sports center of Granadilla de Abona in Tenerife.
Impressive Results
The Dombenites judokas achieved remarkable results in this national circuit test:
- Bronze medal by Marco Trejo Quintana in the -66 kg category
- Bronze medal by Daniela Agudo Mera in the -44 kg category
- Ninth place for Carolina Pozo Alonso in the -52 kg category
- Jesús Talavera, Laura Redondo, Héctor Valadés, and Nerea Muñoz showed great performance but couldn’t secure a place on the podium.
Additionally, a group of judokas from the club participated in the Ne Waza Open in Cáceres, where David Vallejo won a silver medal and Aitana Mera and Andrea Núñez both secured bronze medals.
