Over 1,200 Youth Engage in Paraguay’s ‘Sports Summer’ Camp
Large Turnout for Free Sports Activities
More than 1,200 boys, girls, and adolescents are taking advantage of the ‘Sports Summer’ vacation camp in Paraguay, promoted by the National Sports Secretariat. The initiative, part of the government’s SUMAR Plan, aims to provide alternative recreational sports activities for youth to engage in during their summer break.
The initiative allows for the creation of spaces for sports development and initiation, as an alternative to a sedentary life and vices.
Wide Range of Sports Disciplines
Participants are grouped into three age groups at the SND Complex and enjoy various sports activities from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 11:00. The camp offers experiences in disciplines such as:
