Geetanjali won silver medal in under-11 girls category

Shimla. Players of Indira Gandhi Sports Complex performed brilliantly in the 58th State Level Table Tennis Competition. The competition was held from 8 to 11 November at Rainbow International School, Nagrota Bagwan in Kangra district.
10 players from the sports complex won ten medals in this competition. The winning players will represent Himachal in the national competition to be held in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. The team won gold medal in Under-15 Boys category, bronze medal in Under-15 Girls category, silver medal in Under-19 Men category, Won bronze medal. Apart from this, the men’s team has secured second place in the championship. under-11 girls In the category Gitanjali won the silver medal, in the Under-13 category Ayaan Tomar won the silver medal and Ashveer won the bronze medal. In Under-15, Naivedyam won silver and Yug won bronze medal. In the senior category, Anamika Sood brought pride to the sports complex and Shimla by winning the gold medal. All these players are receiving regular training from coach Abhay Lakhanpal at Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, Shimla. In-charge of Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, Satish Sharma said that the hard work and dedication of these players has made Shimla’s sports complex feel proud.
