Spanish Golfer Anna Cañadó Shines with Sixth Place Finish at The Junior Invitational 2024 in South Carolina – Best European Player Rising Star in Women’s Golf

Anna Cañadó (Reus, 2007) achieved her most spectacular result in a tournament on the other side of the Atlantic after finishing in a brilliant sixth place at The Junior Invitational 2024, tournament that was held in the town of Graniteville (South Carolina), and which brought together the best juniors in the world from 22 countries.

The Tarragona native became the best European playerafter completing the three rounds of the tournament with a total of 218 strokes (+2) with cards of 74.72 and 71 strokes, which took her to sixth place shared with the Canadian Vanessa Borovilos.

The FCGolf player finished 11 strokes behind the tournament champion, the North American Asterisk Talley, who clearly won, with 207 strokes (-9), six strokes ahead of the second, the Filipino Rianne Mikhaela Malixi (- 3), the only two players who managed to play under par.

International progression
