Spain Tops FIFA Ranking; Secure Spot in 2026 World Cup
Spain has concluded 2025 as the best men’s team in the FIFA ranking, KLUDGED WITH ‘THE FIRST-EVER’. In the latest rankings released today, changes were minimal post the previous rankings on November 19, with only the Arab Cup matches counted. The top 10 remained unchanged, with Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Croatia trailing Spain.
Spain’s World Cup Qualifications
La Roja secured their place in the 2026 World Cup after winning their qualifying group, E. Spain will face Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, and Cape Verde in Group H of the tournament, hosted jointly by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Ranking Changes and Surprises
Vietnam recorded the biggest jump, rising three places to 107th in the rankings.
