Frankfurt, Germany – Jamie Edoka, an 18-year-old talent from the Hessen Skyliners, has been selected to participate in the NBA’s Basketball Without Borders All-Star camp, held in conjunction with the NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles. This invitation places Edoka among the world’s most promising young basketball players.

A Prestigious Opportunity

The camp, organized by the NBA and FIBA, brings together top prospects from across the globe – including the United States, Africa, Asia, and Europe – for a week of intensive training and competition. Edoka is one of two German players to receive this honor.

Developing in Frankfurt

While Edoka is considered a key talent within the Skyliners organization, he currently gains experience with the Skyliners Juniors in the ProB South, the third tier of German basketball. He is averaging 16.7 points and 2.6 assists this season. He feels that things are remarkably professional at the Skyliners.

NBA Dreams

Edoka expressed his ambition to eventually play in the NBA, stating, I definitely want to go to the NBA, that’s my goal. He also emphasized his commitment to finishing his schooling in Frankfurt.

“It was a good time, it was really fun,” says Edoka in an interview with hr-sport. The talents were challenged for four or five hours a day in training, individual exercises, types of games, “exciting competitions”.
