The old clay tennis court in the football complex of SK Praga Vysočany is already a thing of the past. In its place, a modern multi-purpose sports and training area with artificial grass is available.
The new playground is practically finished, except for a few details, mainly because of the constantly changing weather.
The total costs exceeded five million crowns. The ninth city district helped with an individual special purpose investment subsidy.
In addition to the club, the public will also be able to use the pitch. For example, it will be able to be used in the morning by schools that are struggling with a lack of sports areas. A major benefit of a modern playground is the fundamental increase in safety during sports activities, and they are not only related to the prevention of accidents or injuries, but also to the strain on the locomotor system.
In the Pragovka complex, you will find four pitches intended for football, including one with an artificial surface of the third generation +.
Construction work, which was carried out by Biturbostav s.r.o., began in September 2023. In December 2023, it was basically finished. Since 2019, this is already the third playground that was created on the premises of SK Praga Vysočany with the financial participation of the club and the Municipal District of Prague 9.
