Burgos Badminton Club Dominates Regional and Youth Tournaments

Strong Performance Across All Levels
The Badminton Club Burgos demonstrated exceptional form over the past weekend, achieving success in both regional and grassroots competitions. The club fielded eleven athletes at the Torrezno de Soria Tournament in the absolute and senior categories of Castilla y León, and a promising youth team at the TOP TTR Sub-13 in Solares, Cantabria. Players from the club consistently reached the podium in nearly all events they participated in.
Triumphs at the Torrezno de Soria Tournament
The Burgos delegation delivered an outstanding performance
at the Torrezno Tournament, showcasing their skill in the highest competitive levels. Javier García
emerged as champion in the absolute men’s singles, completing the tournament with an impeccable
record.
The duo of Daniel García
and Raúl Gutiérrez
secured the gold medal in men’s doubles, while Javier García
and Fernando Fombellida
earned a commendable bronze, resulting in a strong Burgos presence on the podium. Fernando Fombellida
too finished in fifth place in the individual competition.
In the women’s and mixed categories, Beatriz García
