Twenty years and not hearing it: the Settempedana judo school “J-Etic” of master Boris Giachetta greeted the coveted goal with two days of sport and fun. In two decades there have been many young people, boys but also girls, who have approached the discipline.

To celebrate the historic moment, the “Toti Barone” gym hosted a workshop held by the Japanese master Yhsho Oshima, third Dan and technician of the Tsukuba University of Tokyo. Both young and experienced black belts participated in the high-level preparatory stage. Schools from outside the region, even from Liguria, were present at the competition.

Then the “Albino Ciarapica” sports hall hosted the 1st Settempeda Trophy: a youth competition reserved for the boys, rookies A and B and cadet categories. In the afternoon, a non-competitive event open to children aged 4 to 10 was held. The mayor Rosa Piermattei, the municipal councilor for Sport, Paolo Paoloni, and the councilor Jacopo Orlandani brought the city’s greetings to the event.
