Good first test for Pallacanestro Vigarano by the Carlo Grilli-Gianluca Mancinelli duo. The red and white, at the end of four reset seasons (two wins), beat Cavezzo, a Serie B team, with a final score of 76-63.
For Vigarano the first 20 minutes were very important (23-11 and 22-15 scores), with Paz, Zangara and Tintori above all. Grassia also did well. The Vigaranese technical staff gave space to all the players, who found good answers.
In the second 20 ‘Cavezzo saw good percentages, bringing home the last two periods. For Vigarano, the top scorer Ana Paz, author of 22 points.
Good signs for the red and white technical staff, who are now able to continue working on the positive things that the team showed especially in the first half.
Next meeting of the pre season: Wednesday 18th, at Pala Vigarano, against Vis Rosa Ferrara, another newly promoted team in Serie B. Tap-off at 6:30pm.
