Sebastian Bugtrup Named Head Coach at Elite- and Talentcenter Fyn

Fyn badminton has a new leader. Sebastian Bugtrup, 30, will assume the role of head center coach for Elite- and Talentcenter Fyn (ETC-Fyn) on August 1, 2026.

A Focus on Development and Collaboration

Bugtrup will oversee all aspects of training at ETC-Fyn, working closely with the existing coaching staff. His responsibilities include season planning, coordinating physical conditioning, player selection, and maintaining open communication with local clubs to foster player development.

He will also play a key role in strengthening the coaching network across Funen, emphasizing knowledge sharing and collaborative efforts between clubs.

Extensive Background in Badminton

Bugtrup brings a wealth of badminton experience to the position. He has a strong badminton background, experience in national-level talent development, and a history as a league player. He is currently pursuing both diploma and elite coaching certifications.
